Me: We have Goldilocks with us, today. Her name is being used to describe what earth scientists call the “Goldilocks zone.” This is the area near a hot light source that it is not too close (too hot) and not too far away (too cold) from a nearby land surface for liquid water to exist there. It means the distance is just right for life.
However, without this just-right zone, the theories about the universe in which we exist would be very different. Let’s talk to Goldilocks about it. Hello and welcome!
Goldilocks: Great to be with you today! Okay. Could we start with Heliocentric theory? It seems this theory[1] is predominant in the conversations about planets moving around a star in elliptical pathways. Our star,
