WE the People

by Lawrence J. J. Leonard

The only positive thing humans have ever contributed to Earth history which has value is the formation of the United States of America. In G_d’s eyes, we all fall short of the Glory, and yet, the USA is the greatest nation on the planet.

Remember THESE words of the Preamble of our beloved US Constitution when you pray for the lost loved ones of 9-11.
They are here in their original transcription with my translations in
 KLINGON and LATIN

Saturn is my peanut

by Lawrence J. J. Leonard

A long, long time ago, in an orbit, not so far away,
there shined a gas planet, just like a brilliant star,
which we now call Saturn.

Angels We Have Heard On High — Latin, English, Klingon

(LATIN)    Lapsi caelo super nos

Lapsi caelo super nos,
properate, angeli,
Nobis nuntiate vos
natum nostri Domini!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Cur pastores iubilant?
Unde haec tot carmina
Dum per noctem vigilant?
Unde illa lumina?
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

“Ite visum, populi,
Novum regem hominum!
Adorate, populi,
adorate Dominum!”
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

(ENGLISH)    Angels We Have Heard On High

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

John One (intro) Latin – English – Klingon

(Latin)
In principio erat Verbvm, et Verbvm erat apvd Devm,
et Devs erat Verbvm.
Hoc erat in principio apvd Devm.

Omnia per ipsvm facta svnt:
et sine ipso factvm est nihil, qvod factvm est:
in ipso vita erat,
et vita erat lvx hominvm:
et lvx in tenebris lvcet,
et tenebrae eam non comprehendervnt.

Fvit homo missvs a Deo,
cvi nomen etat Ioannes.
Hic venit in testimonivm,
vt testimonivm perbiberet de Lvmine,
Vt onmes crederent per illvm.

Non erat ille Lvx,
de vt testimonivm perhiberet de Lvmine.

(English)
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with G_d,
and the Word was G_d.
The same was in the beginning with G_d.

All things were made by Him,
and without Him
was made nothing that was made.
In Him was the life
and the life was the Light of men:
and the light shines in the darkness
and the darkness did not comprehend. it.

There was a man sent from G_d,
whose name was John.
This man came for a witness
to bear witness of the Light,
that all men through Him might believe.

He was not the Light,
but was to bear witness of the Light.
