UFOs have been reported throughout out planet.
“Flying Saucers” is a term coined by Kenneth Arnold
just two weeks before the Roswell Incident,
on June 24, 1947.
Arnold was an experienced pilot.
He was aloft in his private airplane in Washington state
near Mt. Rainier when he spotted NINE craft
that he did not recognize.
He reported that they appeared to be traveling at very high speeds.
Being very familiar with the distance between
Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams, he calculated their speed
at more than 1,300 MPH.
He quickly landed his plane.
He was soon questioned by the media on the sightings
and described the movement of the objects
not the shape of the crafts, calling them erratic.
Mr. Arnold said they were “similar to a saucer skipping across water“.
The media picked up on this term
and even today some people refer to them
as flying saucers.
Despite being Flying Saucers and lightning fast in 1947,
we now name them UFOs, Unidentified Flying Objects,
which means just that.
They are not identifiable as anything we know.
Keep looking up.
