He heard about the _____
promising not to stare.

Don’t expect he’ll _____ his word.
Rumors begin once heard.

Wondered if this day would come
to _____ how we, like some,

have no stomach for a _____,
yet trudge into the light.

You may think it’s _____ now,
revealing ourselves somehow.

I liked it better back _____ ,
mightier sword than pen.

Still, you are _____ to say it.
We make a brilliant fit.

She heard about the affair.
promising not to _____ .

Don’t expect she’ll keep her word.
_____ end once heard.

Wondered if this day would come
to show how _____ hurts some.

Have no stomach for a fight?
Then run hard _____ the light.

You may think it’s over now,
comforting _____ . Somehow,

we loved this better back then,
mighty our attraction.

Still, it is wrong to live it.
Blank out the brilliant fit.
