The Paradox of Life on Earth – 001

I think Earth is a place of homonyms and homographs.

In the morning we are awake, thanks to the new sunrise.
~ A wake is a death celebration.

Put on your field dress to bring your outside produce in.
~ To field dress a hunted animal means to take its inside guts out.

Job tasks include forming strategies to achieve objectives and build an audience.
~ Military leaders use strategies to destroy objectives and decimate their audience.

At noon you can visit a restaurant enterprise and order food fast.
~ Some of the most enterprising third world countries slowly starve their own people.

On the way home we might take one road built with public taxes to help us get home.
~ Thousands of homeless children and families are not assisted through public taxes.

A report can safely endear us to the dealings of famous people.
~ A report is an explosion, detonated by infamous terrorists, endangering all people.

At night we put the lights out to get a good night’s sleep and subconsciously dream.
~ If someone else puts your light out, you will be unconscious and traumatized.

Earth is really more of a place where perspective is key.
